I was going over in my head about the theme and found my thoughts drifting towards blue in the processing instead of the picture taking;) I considered a cross process but decided a Cyanotype would be perfect;) I love Cyanotypes and I have a few good friends who do them beautifully;) if you are not familiar with this photographic process here is a description:

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that gives a cyan-blue print. The process was popular in engineering circles well into the 20th century. The simple and low-cost process enabled them to produce large-scale copies of their work, referred to as blueprints. Two chemicals are used in the process:
Ammonium iron(III) citrate
Potassium ferricyanide.

You should google the whole process sometime if you dont already know about it;) It's fun and easy!

I saw this abandoned house on the road into town and knew I wanted to pair the decay with this sadly decaying process:( NOw that makes me feel blue.
Since I don't have access to the chemicals this week this is obviously a digital cyanotype. But I hope it is pleasing to the eye none the less. ;)
