SHOUT OUT SUNDAY

Well folks..its true... I have been slackin on my Sundays. Haven't done a shout out for a while!!! So since I kinda have some stink attitude goin on I figured I would step outside myself and get back on track by recognizing someone today..... First I have to admit that I actually was inspired to start my shout outs because I knew the birth mom of the baby we were going to adopt was reading my blog and I wanted her to know how many amazing people were in my life and all the love that would be surrounding the baby. SO you can see why I have kind of avoided it, since everything went to crap. BUT I think it was inspired because I do have many amazing people in my life and I need to recognize them and tell them how I really feel!!

ANYWAYS... ONTO the SHOUTING!!!

This week I have chosen .....................STEPHANIE LYNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I first met Stephanie back in the fall of 06 if I remember correctly. Stephanie had just moved into our ward in Kaneohe and I saw her in R.S. and approached her to introduce myself. Well I basically made her cry cuz her husband at that time had just deployed to Iraq and I asked her where her husband was. I felt so bad!!!!! I had a giant sign on my face that said insert foot here, (pointing to my mouth)

Anyways I called her one evening to see if she wanted to go to dinner with me. So we went to Ruby Tuesdays just down the street. When we went to order she ordered a salad and I thought to myself... OH NO..not another hot skinny salad eating blond!!! UGGG why do I have to make friends with such hot people. They make me look bad .. really. BUT as our conversation went on I realized that this chick was pretty flippin cool and she lived just across the fence from me;) LOL

Since then Steph and I have had many adventures together. She was my surrogate sister in Hawaii. She helped heal the pain of being away from my own family. We did everything together. She and I had so much fun and we learned a lot from each other.

Steph even drove 6 hours to come and see me when I was in Utah. She was there for me to help support me after the adoption completely fell apart. She was there for me.... and you know what that's a good friend. NO .. no.. that's a great friend.

Even though our lives have changed and we have had some ups and downs, I consider Stephanie my dearest sweetest friend and I miss her dearly. MY life is better and more full because she is in it. SO heres to you STEPH!!! miss you everyday and Love you till I die!!!!!
