This morning we had our first ultrasound. I am 7 weeks and 2 days today. It is still very early BUT this morning I saw my "little bean" for the first time! Not only that but there it was a little flicker on the screen, a little fast paced heart beat;) It was sooo sweet. I couldn't help but tear up. (Tim did too)
I have to say that when I saw that little heartbeat on that screen My own heart started to beat again for the first time in a long time;) I have waited my whole life to see that little blip on the screen. I have daydreamed about it for so long. AND I get to share it with my soul mate. My partner in crime. My baby Daddy!!!
Could I possibly be more blessed?
I don't think so.
The doc says everything looks perfect. It is all going as it should. What a relief!

That is the cutest cheeto I have ever seen!!! From here on out it is a series of AWESOME milestones! Next you will hear that beautiful sound. Then you will start to look pregnant. You're beautiful female figure forming into the most glorious thing it was created to do. Then you will feel your baby moving. It's all so amazing, and I am thrilled for you. And all along I know that you will always remember the journey that you have been on. That you could never possibly forget the heartache that you met face to face over the past 5 years. Remember that sometimes we must know sadness to know joy, and that it also okay to experience the joy. All of your friends and family should really truly want that for you. I love you and Tim and that baby cheeto. Which if genetics pass on will be a fiery hot cheeto... hehehe.
