ALOHA! So here it is folks the low down on the happs of our Kona trip! Like I said before we had a blast! Tim and I met everyone there on friday night May 2. We got there at about 7:30 pm but for everyone else it was anywhere form 2 to 6 hours later. I was full of energy to see everyone but they were all asleep!!! Anyways the next day everyone was pumped to go to Hilo side to see some sights and so we could go to their commisary for cheap groceries. I was bummed cuz it was pouring rain, but thats ok it was still pretty. Here is a pic from Liliokalani Park.
At the end of the day everyone headed back to Kona, and me and Tim went to the "commisary" with the parents and Lil bro Jason. I put Commisary in " "because it was the most pathetic excuse for a commisary I ever saw!! A little wherehouse with nothing in it but beef jerkey and cookies!! So we loaded up with what we could, and headed back.
So on sunday Tim and I and dad and kathy went to sacrament meeting at the local ward. I have never seen so many kids bear their testimonies!! It was awesome. I was bummed no one else came with us to church, it was a nice time to remember Hevenly Father in the midst of all our many blessings. Anyways it was a good day.
Then monday Dad, Jason, Will, and Tim went fishing and got skunked. My dad has yet to catch a marlin, he was totally bummed!!!
Most nights on the trip Tim, Jason , and Will stayed awake till 3 am playing rock band! Yes we had a whole suticase dedicated to bringing the band equipment. Thats what I get for marrying a gamer! Here is a pic of them playing.
On tuesday we went diving in Kona. It was so clear and beautiful. The captain of our boat was a little weird but the dive master was really cool. We saw some cool stuff on the first dive, but Tim and I didnt go on the second dive because I took to much dramamine, and I was falling asleep after the first dive. I had no energy, so I tapped, and of course my wonderful hubby wouldnt let go hang out bu myself for a couple hours at the car so he came with me.
Anyways, The rest of the trip was a lot of unplanned activities, shopping, sightseeing, snorkling, and such. everyone kinda did their own thing. On wed. everyone went to a luau, except Robin and Tim and I. We didn't wanna pay so much money for something we have seen a thousand times. We went and saw Ironman which was the bomb. Anyways here is a pic of everyone at the luau.

My Dad's birthday was on thursday. We had a nice dinner of Ono, and rice. Of course I did not partake of the Ono because its fish. Anyone who knows me knows I hate fish! We had a fun time hangin out with each other. We gave my dad a little scrapbook we put together of all our pictures, and on each page, each person put their own "Kevinism" . If you ever met my dad he always has says his little catch frases and he has an analogy for everything. It was nice to laugh and give my dad the recognition he deserves for all that he does for us. Here is a pic of everyone from that night.

I can say for sure that this trip was a success. It was so nice to have everyone here. We miss our family so much. It's hard for us to truly know everyone because we are so far away. It was so nice to find out that I truly do love my family now more than ever. Even all my step-siblings. It was so nice to get to know them, I can only hope that they love us back as much as we love them. It was awesome for Tim to get to know his brother-in-laws better, I wish Angie and Eli could have been there too. I feel so blessed to have these people in my life.
The only piece of my heart that was missing was My Mom, and my sister Keri. I miss them so much. I sometimes wish we could have a family trip with all the members of my family there. It sucks that its split apart. But I am grateful that despite all the things we've been through we are still semi normal and there is no doubt how much we love each other. Thanks for reading this Long-A blog!!!
Love you all!
